How AI Generation Works

Website Builder uses OpenAI's language models to generate complete websites from your business description. Here is what happens behind the scenes.

The generation process

  1. You describe your business — The more detail you provide, the better the result. Include your services, location, unique selling points, and any sections you want.
  2. AI generates the content — The AI writes all the copy (headlines, descriptions, CTAs, testimonials, FAQ, etc.) and generates the complete HTML, CSS, and page structure.
  3. Your template and palette are applied — The selected template and color theme are integrated into the generated design.
  4. The site is deployed — The generated site is automatically published with SSL on a live subdomain.

What the AI generates

A typical generated site includes:

  • Navigation bar with links to each section
  • Hero section with headline, subheadline, and call-to-action
  • Features or services section
  • About section
  • Contact section with a working form
  • Footer

You can then use AI Edit to add more sections like pricing, team, testimonials, FAQ, hours, maps, and more.

Quality and accuracy

The AI generates realistic, professional copy, but it is your responsibility to review and verify all content. Placeholder details (like addresses and phone numbers) should be updated with your real information using Quick Edit or Manual Edit.
